Driven by Best Buddies Qatar’s commitment to expanding awareness and promoting its activities and services for persons with disabilities within the local community, the initiative’s College Program has recently focused on establishing Best Buddies clubs at a number of prestigious international universities newly launched in the State of Qatar. One of these is the University of Arkansas Qatar—an internationally accredited, American-affiliated university. This step aims to raise overall awareness among university students about the rights of persons with disabilities to maintain ongoing communication and to be integrated within their community, thereby advancing the principles of inclusion and integration.
